Job advert
To provide Investor Relations (IR) and Corporate Access services to Daiwa's corporate and institutional clients, combining client-facing responsibilities with bilingual operational support to deliver successful engagement between listed companies and investors.
- Organizing Investor–Company Engagements: Event Planning & Execution - Arrange Non-deal Roadshows (NDRs), Virtual & In-person Meetings, Investor Conferences & Seminars, Logistic arrange support for IR activities
- Relationship Management: Bridging Cultural & Communication Gaps - Help Japanese companies expand visibility with European institution investors. Arrange Professional interpreters, Pre-meeting briefing notes, Post-meeting feedback summaries
- Collaboration: Work closely with - Sales team to help and support Japanese corporates identify and meet high-potential investors, Global Corporate Access team & Investment banking coverage teams to build relationship with the companies
- Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and manage Regulatory risks, ensuring adherence to Regulatory requirements and the firm’s own risk framework.
Candidate profile
- Native or professional business-level fluency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken).
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in finance, corporate access, investor relations, operations, or project coordination.
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and corporate protocol.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with Salesforce, Oracle, and other CRM or business systems is desirable.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Resilient and able to work effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and client-focused with a collaborative approach to work.
- Full, unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and/or relevant professional experience.
